Galaxy Grove is looking for an art intern to join us during the second half of 2022. As a 3D art intern, you’ll work with us on our newest management & building games, including our unannounced new train game. You’ll make voxel art, rig and animate it, make it ready to bring it into the game in Unreal and add effects in Unreal. You’ll work in Blender, MagicaVoxel and Unreal on things like vehicles, buildings, props and environments.

This internship is suitable for students with various art backgrounds, as long as you make awesome art and are willing to learn new skills. A background in 3D art in any software can work well, but it can also be a background in for example pixel art, since that’s an excellent starting point to learn voxel art in MagicaVoxel. It’s a plus if you already have experience in Blender, animation and/or MagicaVoxel.

Be sure to provide an extensive portfolio, showing the quality of your best work, but also the diversity of your skills, plus your CV and cover letter.

This internship is 5 days per week, of which at least 3 days working from the Galaxy Grove office in Utrecht. The other 2 days can be either working from home or from the office, depending on your preference.

To apply, please send an email to [email protected].
