Overview
WW1 Game Series is looking for an experienced Freelance Level Designer/Mapper to work on the popular WW1 Game Series known from games such as Verdun and Tannenberg. Qualified candidates will have experience with first persoon shooter games and are fluent in level design practices and overall game development. Level design will be done in the Unity engine. This is a remote freelance position.
Responsibilities:
- Create full-scale realistic and historical accurate FPS levels
- Prototype level layouts quickly and efficiently
- Work with product managers, developers and artists to oversee the implementation of new features and systems
- Analyze feedback and adjust level designs accordingly
- Experience building believable spaces that cater to gameplay and historical WW1 theme
- Optimize levels for memory and performance
- Taking ownership over the levels you create
- Help estimate and plan production times with production team
Required Skills:
- Experienced in Unity
- Demonstrable experience creating gameplay in a 3D environment.
- Experience and knowledge on World War Multiplayer First Persoon Shooters
- Strong knowledge of game balancing and pacing
- Works well in a remote team environment.
- Passionate gamer

About M2H B.V.
M2H draait al meer dan 10 jaar mee in de Nederlandse game industry. Het bedrijf begon met de broers Matt en Mike Hergaarden en is gezond doorgegroeid naar een aardig grote game studio waarin rond de 20 mensen full time aan meerdere games werken. Al vroeg was er succes met mobile games en later kwam daar de WW1 Game Series bovenop (Verdun, Tannenberg).
Op dit moment werkt M2H aan 4 games en zoeken nog een paar mensen extra om een sterk en gezellig core team op te bouwen op kantoor. Een unieke kans om mee te kunnen werken aan verschillende multiplayer games voor op meerdere platformen.
